Despite being largely ocean-bound, seals are actually more closely related to dogs than they are to other marine mammals like whales or dolphins.
Diver Gary Grayson found out about this the fun way during a recent diving excursion off the coast of the Isles of Sicily. He was just going his way when an Atlantic grey seal showed up and asked something a dog would.
“C’mon paw, give me a stroke, please!”
